Family Dispute Resolution’s new extended hours
FairWay’s Family Dispute Resolution service is now open for longer hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Following a successful trial period, FairWay has extended its Family Dispute Resolution assessment service. The assessment service is now available until 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings to better suit the needs of parents and caregivers.
Keri Morris, Client Director of FairWay’s Family Dispute Resolution service believes the extended hours make it easier for parents that are not always available to participate during standard hours.
“We listened to our customers. During our trial, we found that parents were very grateful to book in for a time that suited them in the evenings. Many parents are working full time, including shift work, and in some cases a parent can be based overseas, so they really appreciated longer hours and set appointments,” said Keri.
How can I book in?
Parents and caregivers can schedule a time that suits them from 8:30am – 5pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and now until 7pm on a Tuesday and Thursday.
It is easy to schedule an assessment during our extended hours - it can be arranged by phoning our team on 0800 77 44 20, by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by requesting a time through our online referral form.
The confidential assessment usually takes around 30 minutes, and is an opportunity to check whether Family Dispute Resolution is the right option for your family. This usually involves discussing what you want to achieve through mediation, what your unique needs are and to check whether you are you are eligible for government funding.
“There is no cost to start the process and we will work with you to explore funding. During this conversation, we will go through all the different options that are available, including Preparation for Mediation and Parenting Through Separation courses. We will listen to your needs and find a mediator who is the best fit for your family. We take into account things like the availability of both parties, cultural or language needs, your location and any personal preferences that would make the Family Dispute Resolution process easier and more comfortable for families,” explains Keri.
