Gordon Hart

Gordon works in our Commercial Services team as a Resolution Coordinator.

He brings diverse life experience to his role. He most recently worked for 20 years as a Family Court lawyer with a focus on child, family violence and Oranga Tamariki cases, including as Lawyer for Child and Counsel to Assist the Court.

Prior to law Gordon worked for 10 years in the shipping container industry, and 10 years in the horticultural sector including as a vineyard manager.  Somewhere in between he squeezed in four years as a stay-at-home dad/husband.

In all of his work, Gordon’s focus has been on achieving practical, fair and durable solutions. His default is, where possible, to go for the win-win and restoration of relationships. Gordon believes that regardless of the outcome of disputes, the key is for people to know that they have been heard, understood, and respected.
