Michelle Peat uses restorative practices to build ongoing relationships. Michelle works with families in the workplace and the community.
Michelle is a contractor for Fair Way as an Employment Mediator and a Family Mediator in the Waikato, Hauraki and Lakes Districts.
For Workplace: Where good working relationships are important. As you know, we spend a lot of our time at work, when relationships are not right it makes work life very uncomfortable. Supporting teams, colleagues and business partners to find ways through the conflict and back into a productive work space is the goal.
For Families: Where separated parents work together for their kids sake. Michelle works with parents and whānau to move towards a place where agreements can be found that are in your child's best interest. Michelle's focus is working with you to find liveable answers around the day to day care of, and contact with, your children.
Michelle lives in Hamilton, working with families for seven years with Parenting Worx. Since 2009 Michelle has worked in the area of conflict resolution; Patient Advocacy, Restorative Justice and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Michelle is a qualified mediator accredited with AMINZ who focused on family law as part of a Graduate Diploma of Dispute Resolution at Waikato University in 2010. Michelle believes in the magic of mediation and facilitation.
