Nurit Zubery

Nurit is a family mediator and an accredited FDR Provider who aspires to help separating parents resolve their differences, so they can better support their children through the painful process of separation. Her mediation process is designed to empower parents to focus on their children and work together to build a comprehensive parenting plan that will be their family’s roadmap for the future. Nurit is passionate about rebuilding trust between parents and teaching them new ways to communicate and form a new working relationship, so they can successfully navigate the challenging move from being romantic partners to being the best co-parents they can be.

Nurit completed a Master of Laws at the Auckland University Law School, specialising in mediation. Her Master’s thesis is based on a qualitative research project examining how fathers experience family mediation. The study equipped her with a deep understanding of the dynamics of family mediation and how to best address the needs of both mothers and fathers and help them protect the well-being of their children.

Nurit has professional training in mediating high-conflict family disputes (The High Conflict Institute, US), conflict coaching (CCI Academy, Australia), and working with family violence victims of both genders (Shine Respond NZ, Level 2 and 3).
